The Microbes Initiative at DTU
At DTU Biosustain, we have established a university-wide platform called the Microbes Initiative at Technical University of Denmark (Microbes@DTU).
The purpose of the Microbe Initiative is to strengthen microbiology as an important tool on the path towards a biobased society. We do that by establishing and nurturing a community for DTU researchers working with microbe-relevant topics at DTU. In this community we provide a platform for sharing knowledge, training, education, technology platforms, invited guests’ lectures, and mentoring and career development support.
The community consists of more than 360 microbiologists of DTU, from undergraduate to professor level. All members are provided with a membership to the Medicon Valley Alliance.
